這是一篇舊內容的小小回顧吧！一部分算是我小小的發現。SPN最著名的就是經典的搖滾樂，在前兩季使用了大量的經典搖滾樂做配樂，製作團隊更趁機會將經典搖滾樂的經典巧妙的放入劇中致意。在1.17 Hell House中，就利用了唱片行的場景巧妙的推崇了兩個經典的團體。
首先是兩人第一次到唱片行訪查時，Dean隨意翻找黑膠唱片，後來鏡頭帶到的就是Kansas收錄了最有名歌曲《Dust In the Wind》的專輯【Point Of Known Return】唱片。（Kansas之前維特有介紹過了，Kansas樂團，另外還另外介紹過《Dust In the Wind》這首歌。）

接著是更深入劇情的一個符號，在探查鬼屋時Dean對牆上某個噴漆的符號一直覺得似曾相識，後來被他想起來，就是著名重金屬搖滾先驅Blue Oyster Cult的樂團Logo，到了唱片行Dean挑選了Blue Oyster Cult著名的專輯唱片【Fire of Unknown Origin】，本集中第二個經典唱片的鏡頭。一開始兩兄弟在車上的歌曲和片尾開車離去的歌曲都是Blue Oyster Cult的歌曲。
Blue Oyster Cult（簡稱BOC）1967年成立於紐約。最著名的三首歌曲：1976年出自專輯【Agents of Fortune】的單曲《(Don't Fear) The Reaper》、1981年出自專輯【Fire of Unknown Origin】的單曲《Burnin' for You》以及1977年出自專輯【Spectres】的單曲《Godzilla》。BOC因為其鋒芒畢露的音樂性譴責及使用了科幻神秘的肖像，使他們成為重金屬搖滾樂界的先驅，Metallica、HIM和Iced Earth都受到BOC的影響。BOC在全球已賣出超過1400萬張的唱片。
劇中符號的由來，符號名稱The hook-and-cross，代表的是Kronos（在希臘神話中是泰坦人的國王以及宙斯的父親），也是最重的金屬-鉛的煉金術符號。經紀人Sandy Pearlman考慮後，把這個樂團沉重扭曲的吉他聲結合並且認定“heavy metal(重金屬)”的形容非常適合BOC的音樂。Logo是由Bill Gawlik設計，並且出現在所有BOC的專輯當中。而BOC僅有一次在第二張專輯【
